We’re looking for a National Refit & Relay Manager to join our Format Network Development & Property team here in Aotearoa reporting to our Head of Construction. Joining our team, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our national construction team. Your sole client will be Woolworths NZ Ltd, but the variety of projects in your portfolio will be anything but predictable.

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**

Your key responsibility will be to ensure the client supply team provide & install equipment for all Woolworths board approved and Capex projects to an agreed programme, that will initially include driving the successful outcome of the business transformation, all within approved budgets and managing business expectations for both long lead in items and roll out of new initiatives.

You will also be responsible for:
**Executing space management plans / store relays and electronic shelf labels to an agreed programme with mínimal disruption to the store operations**
**Managing equipment inventory, including international sourcing, to meet the property network plan / construction programmes / store & operational requests / new business initiatives**
**Providing accurate equipment supply & refrigeration case estimates initially. Going on to providing regular cost reports that forecast anticipated final costs from current commitments**
**Managing external contractor relationships to ensure a high standard of Health & Safety is met, together with quality, programme & budget**
**Actively be involved in the re-tendering process of 3PL services agreements, refrigeration case supply contracts, both national & international equipment supply, and internal & external Woolworths signage contracts**
**Visiting live construction projects to ensure brand standards are maintained within programme**
**Ensuring that Health and Safety and all the Local Authority obligations are met**
**Coaching and mentoring of the team to ensure development opportunities are identified and implemented and regular interaction with peers in Woolworths Australia to improve equipment harmonisation
**About You | Mōu**

To succeed in this role you will need to be capable of leading a multi layered team within a large functional unit, have proven supermarket retail experience, coupled with construction/refurbishment experience and ability to handle internal and external stakeholders. If you’re the sort of individual who strives to always do the right thing for customers, team, our communities, and our business then we ought to connect.
