Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation
It's not very often something happens that's big; like, really big. Big to the point that it will touch the lives of every single person in the country. That's what we're talking about here. The provision of health services in Aotearoa, and how it's run is about to change in a big way.
Te Whatu Ora-Health New Zealand and Te Aka Whai Ora-Māori Health Authority will together shape the delivery of health services in NZ for generations to come and will form the core of a modern and integrated service looking after the needs of all our whānau.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
Join the National Screening Unit Team in a permanent Technical Product Manager role and be part of their vision to provide high quality, equitable and mana-enhancing screening programmes for Aotearoa's people and their whānau.
This role would see you working closely with the Group Manager and across the National Screening Unit (NSU) as the critical enabler of a technology solution. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for delivering a solution that is adaptable and able to support modern health care delivery and programme changes. You will ensure that digital technology supports business processes and keeps participants safe along the screening pathway. The day-to-day of this role will involve working with the technology vendors, Data and Digital colleagues within Te Whatu Ora and the Screening Programme managers, as the lynch pin that translates business need into ICT delivery and service management.
The National Screening Unit is responsible for the delivery of six national population health-based screening programmes and part of the Technical Product Manager's role will include the development of an NSU digital roadmap for these six programmes. Through this digital roadmap and a robust technical solution, you will make a real difference to monitoring patients and achieving health gains. You'll be working with Agile Project Management methodologies, processes and principles. The Technical Product Manager will be taking part in sprints and will need to understand product backlogs and user stories. Some Waterfall methodology may be required. There is the potential to grow a team under you in this role.
