We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.

This really is an exciting time and great opportunity to join the Te Whatu Ora Talent Team. We're on the lookout for a Talent Acquisition Adviser to join the team as we move into our new Talent Acquisition model.
You will work collaboratively with hiring leaders, HR Business Partners and HR Colleagues to deliver positive recruitment outcomes. Through coaching and advice, you will influence hiring managers to adopt effective talent practice and assist in the design and delivery of direct and inclusive recruitment and selection strategies.

**Additional core duties**:

- Manage attraction and recruitment of diverse roles for specific portfolios
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify talent needs and deliver best in class solutions to source top talent
- Provide coaching and advice to hiring managers on our end-to-end recruitment processes
- Build strong talent pipelines

The responsibility of the Talent Acquisition Adviser is to ensure we attract, hire (and retain) the best employees, while coordinating the growth of a strong pipeline. To thrive in this role, you'll need to the following skills and experience:

- Good experience of successful recruitment delivery, preferably within in-house or direct recruitment
- Ability to build effective working relationships to manage internal clients and expectations
- Ability to work well with people across all levels
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting your own direction, coupled with excellent decision-making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
