**About the role**
This role provides leadership to the RMO Unit which supports the organisation with coordination and recruitment of Resident Medical Officers (RMO’s). Working with General Managers, Service Managers and Clinical Leaders, this role ensures the service is delivered efficiently to meet the needs of the organisation.
This role includes:
- Management of a small team
- Day-to-day contact point for RMO’s, dealing with issues and providing solutions as they arise
- Management and support to House Officers
- Coordination of daily operational functions including recruitment, orientation, pay and rosters for RMOs.
- Contingency planning regarding roster absences
- Adhering to compliance requirements for unions
- Workforce planning and prioritisation
We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and who enjoys building relationships with others. This role would suit someone who can plan multiple steps while working in a fast-paced and pressurised environment.
**Key requirements**
- Experience in health or a health-related role
- Team Management experience
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong organisational skills, ability to work autonomously as well as within a tight knit team
- Understanding of cultural issues which impact on a wide organisation
