Accounting Clark/book Keeper

Based at our Riverhead Office, this key position calls for an experienced accounting clark and bookkeeper.
**Role**:Accounting Clark/Book Keeper
This role is instrumental in assisting in managing the company's financial systems and processes, where your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Participating in managing and forecasting the company's cash flow.
- Assisting in preparing monthly financial statements and department cost center reports.
- Preparing and processing documentation related to accounts payable and receivable, as well as wages and salaries.
- Liaising with and supporting other accounts clerks as required or directed by your manager.
- Reconciling invoices and dispatching payments.
- Maintaining, reconciling, and balancing accounts.
- Investigating, compiling, and preparing reports on operating cost data on a monthly basis.
- Implementing system and process enhancements.
- Assisting in GST, PAYE, and FBT submissions.
- Processing payments of accounts, wages, and salaries; providing assistance with payroll.
- Providing audit assistance.
- Investigating and presenting opportunities to improve current processes.
- Liaising with existing customer to ensure their satisfaction.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- New Zealand-recognized Level 4 qualification or higher is required. Alternatively, at least three years of relevant experience can substitute for the qualification requirement.
- A comprehensive understanding of corporate business accounting processes is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workload, establish procedures, and implement follow-up processes for task monitoring.
- Proven capability to manage stress, ensuring timely delivery of information as per company requirements.
- Ability to work methodically and autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Focused on meeting deadlines and achieving results.
- Capacity to clearly articulate and communicate complex and technical information.
- Proficient in Excel skills.
- Real-world experience in direct dealings with customers, vendors, and/or suppliers is advantageous.
- Proficiency in managing, planning, and forecasting budgets, along with the ability to allocate resources and maintain financial records in compliance with regulations.
- Familiarity with New Zealand's business operations and working environment is preferred.
- The applicant needs to have Chinese reading skills due to the daily operating machines are imported from China and manuals were in Chinese.
