McAlpine Hussmann Limited is a leader in the field of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, manufacture and design, installation and service. As a subsidiary of a multi-national company we have access to international R&D and world-class products, and as such our business is experiencing significant growth.
We currently have a vacancy for an Office Manager in our Christchurch branch. This role is suited to an experienced Administrator, who is a team player, can take control of our admin area, has experience managing administration staff, and offers quality service to both our external and internal customers.
**Key skills required for this role**:
- Proven ability to manage administrative staff,
- Experience in data entry, job costing and cost management,
- Accounting background or working in accounts would be an advantage,
- A flexible, common sense approach and the ability to prioritise a busy workload,
- The ability to work as part of a team and coordinate technical team members who are on clients' jobs,
- Ability to train and mentor administration staff,
- The flexibility to perform other administrative tasks when deadlines must be met,
- Previous experience in a similar service industry would be a definite advantage.
