**About the Role**

As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be working in a customer focused, high performing IT Operations team, accountable for infrastructure related services. You will work alongside a strong team of Infrastructure Engineers as well as a range of stakeholders through the business.

**What you’re responsible for**
- All Enterprise Infrastructure Applications such as Citrix, VMWare, Enterprise Storage, Group Policy, Active Directory, Exchange, Antivirus, Skype, Proxy, Mail scrubbing, Commvault, Acronis, SCCM, Monitoring etc.
- Complying with and contributing to Full end-to-end Infrastructure processes and reporting, including capacity management and planning.
- Ensure maximum availability, Security, performance, and appropriate capacity for all FSNI IT / Technology systems

**What skills and experience you need**
- 7+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment
- Understanding of the components required in an effective network infrastructure.
- Understanding of and experience working with VMWare technical stack.
- You will have excellent planning and communication skills, with a great ability to collaborate with others, clearly articulate ideas/concepts and effectively present to others.
- You will be flexible and able respond to incoming requests, and someone who constantly can challenge the status quo.
- Experience with Citrix, VMWare, Enterprise Storage, Group Policy, Active Directory, Exchange (Onprem & Online), AntiVirus, Skype, Proxy, Mail scrubbing, Commvault, Acronis, SCCM, Monitoring
- Experience working with Enterprise SAN Storage - Pure Storage or similar
- Strong background in managing and optimizing blade chassis infrastructure
- Strong aptitude for rapid learning and the confidence to assume ownership in resolving challenges in unfamiliar scenarios
