In our recreation & sport centres, we look for stand out individuals who are able to create an energy and excitement for fitness through their personality and we're on the hunt for more talented instructors who inspire groups of people to get active and have fun Our goal is simple - More People, More Active, More Often.

The vacancies for this Casual Group Fitness Instructor role are currently prioritized for the following styles to support our network of facilities; Jellie Park, Taiora QEII, Pioneer, Graham Condon Recreation and Sports centres and Te Pou Toetoe Linwood Pool:

- Pump
- Spin
- BAT
- Gentle Exercise
- Aquafit
- Pilates
- Stretch and Release
- Burn Zone
- Strength Zone
- HIIT Zone

While an appropriate group fitness industry qualification and relevant experience is preferred, consideration will still be given to non-qualified individuals who are passionate about the industry and can demonstrate prior experience within the field.

To make sure you hit that stage as a success, you'll be a confident, energetic and fun instructor who has the proven ability to deliver classes in front of a diverse range of people. You will create the ultimate workout experience and respectfully interact with a range of cultures. As someone who likes to go the extra mile, you'll know your work isn't done when the music stops. It's important to interact with your customers and create a supportive community within your customers. We're looking for people who pride themselves on all of the above, as well as their time-management skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism and reliability. A current Comprehensive First Aid Certificate is required for these roles.
