Here at Little Wonders Roslyn we are a close knit team of teachers that respect and value all team members regardless of their job title. We are a centre who provides the very best in education and care for around 85 children every day. We are a play-based environment that values children leading their own learning,

The kitchen is the hub of the centre, as centre cook you will play a pivotal part in ensuring children are eating well and creating positive relationships with food.

What your day with us will look like:
BUSY - this is a fast-paced role, you need to be super organised & plan ahead
- Preparation of meals for the children in line with the menu plan & seasonally changing this menu.
- Purchasing appropriate ingredients while ensuring enough stock is on hand as required
- Ensuring meals are served in a hygienic and attractive manner
- Dishes, lots of dishes.. washed, sterilised, and returned to classes so the team are always well prepared
- Maintaining positive interactions with staff, children and families at all times

- You love working around children, creating healthy meals, and have a positive, warm demeanour.
- You’re versatile, used to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen area, and have excellent knowledge of food safety procedures, don’t be too concerned you will get comprehensive training and support from the start, but being a clean freak will certainly help from the outset.
