Our
**Mico Walter Street** store is a busy and successful commercial branch, boasting a beautiful showroom while also providing trade solutions to a loyal trade customer base, including home builders and the local business sector. We have recently relocated to new premises and upgraded the store.

**Mico New Zealand** is a leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products to the trade, retail and commercial sectors, with 69 branches and around 550 employees throughout New Zealand.

**The role**

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be joining the team as a Customer Service all-rounder. The variety of this role is exciting as it will be mostly Delivery Driving with some Inwards Goods and Trade Counter Sales. If you're successful in getting the role, we would provide additional training including getting you your forklift licence (if you don’t already have one). You’d get product and systems training right from the start, and support from the experienced team around you.

This is a permanent, fulltime role working Mondays to Fridays plus rostered Saturday mornings.

**About you**

To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. The ability to build rapport and relationships and work collaboratively with your teammates should be your strength, and you’ll be IT savvy, too. Experience in a sales or retail environment would stand you in good stead for this role, but your attitude and an interest in our industry is what matters.

There is manual handling required so you’ll need to be physically fit. A class 1 drivers’ licence is required (restricted is fine as long as you’re a confident driver) and a forklift licence would be a bonus (but training can be provided).
