Senior Software Engineer - (Web Services) Rocket Lab is an end-to-end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more - all with the goal of opening access space. What You'll Do: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing web applications that integrate relational databases and REST APIs within a service-oriented architecture. Your responsibilities will include: Web Application Development: Design database schemas, create intuitive user interfaces, and develop robust back-end and front-end applications Software Development: Write and test code, document software operations, review and approve merge requests, and refine product backlog items. Leadership: Facilitate architecture meetings, scrum activities, and stakeholder discussions while mentoring others in best practices. Deployment & Support: Deliver operational software, train users, and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.
