Senior Software Engineer

Are you a Senior Full Stack Engineer l ooking for an exciting product that's making real world impact? IDEXX is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing ezyVet team.

This role will be
hybrid
4 days per week out of our Auckland office.

We're looking for a senior engineer who's wanting to level up their experience and start down that leadership pathway. You'll be hands-on with the tools, delving in to comp lex technical challenges in our appointments and prescriptions space for Vello, whilst also collaborating with our other Vello development teams across Auckland and the US.

We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress. A Bit More About The Role, You Will

• Lead from the front, dem ons trating your experience by delivering features, sh ow casin g eng ineer ing and architectural best practices.
• Inspire a culture of accountability and end-to-end ownership of the squad's product/feature/vision.
• Contribute to the evolution of IDEXX's engineering principles, practices and standards ac ross all squads.
• Innovate in key areas, delivering market-leading experiences
• Work closely with Product and Practice Leads, collaborating on quality solutions and technical improvements (such as refactoring , scaling and innovating ).

What You Need To Succeed

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• Proven technical people influencer
• Experie nced in evolving cult ure and process towards better engagement, agility, automated testing, and DevSecOps
• Experience with principles and practices related to cloud technologies
• Practical knowledge of s ystem an d software design
• Familiarity with modern web technologies (such as React), and cloud backend technologies (such as Go , , .NET, Ruby, Java)
• Modern software delivery practices like continuous integration
• Previous experience in scaled SaaS environment is hugely desirable
