The Hired Guns are seeking an organized, digitally-savvy Account Director to support media buying and lead client relationships at a unique, rapidly-scaling media agency.
The Nitty Gritty The backstory on the organization and why they need to hire youA rapidly-growing boutique NYC agency is looking for a hyper-organized, digitally-savvy Account Director with deep experience in the retail/e-comm industry.
The Account Director will lead client relationships, run financial processes and strategy, and completely direct the media processes — including social and programmatic spending — for a large retail brand with over 17 thousand stores nationwide.
In partnership with the media director, this person will strategize and oversee campaigns to meet the client’s goals, manage the media team, and oversee large budgets for digital (social and programmatic) ad buys well as TV, out-of-home, radio, and streaming.

You bring expertise and value to clients through analytics, problem solving, and presenting viable integrated solutions.
In previous roles you have successfully identified and inspired new work streams and solutions which lead to client growth and have a history of collaboration and team leadership.
You’ve managed and grown large, high-velocity accounts (preferably in retail) and know how to manage by influence.
You understand which digital media levers to pull (search, social, programmatic) to get things done and are brilliant at managing multiple campaigns at once.
