Role Overview: As Principal Consultant/Technical Director, you will report directly to the Technical Discipline Manager - Landscape Architecture and will play a pivotal role in business development, client management, and project delivery.
This role requires an established network, technical leadership, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

Lead business development and market initiatives, including proposal development and client negotiations.
Manage and deliver landscape architecture projects to meet time and budget targets.
Lead client engagements, acting as the primary relationship owner throughout project cycles.
Provide strategic advice on growth opportunities and resource requirements.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance, health & safety standards, and company policies.
Promote a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across the company.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, participating in technical associations and forums.

Skills and Qualifications

Typically, 10-15+ years’ experience in landscape architecture or a related field.
Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent competency/qualification.
Proven track record of winning work, managing complex projects, and achieving financial targets.
Strong client management and negotiation skills.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and escalate issues when necessary.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
