Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Planning and organizing daily store operations to achieve sales targets and maximizeprofitability.
Managing staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, performance evaluation, andsupervision.
Monitoring sales trends and implementing promotional strategies to increase sales.
Ensuring the store maintains an appealing layout and product presentation in line withthe souvenir brand’s image.
Managing inventory levels, coordinating stock ordering, receiving, and loss prevention.
Maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating pricing or promotional termswhere applicable.
Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure high levels ofsatisfaction.
Overseeing cash handling, reconciliation, and daily banking procedures.
Preparing reports on sales performance, costs, and inventory turnover.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety, and employmentregulations.
Monitoring market trends and adjusting stock selection to meet tourist and seasonaldemands.
Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job
NZQF Level 5 qualification.
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a small team effectively.
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rostered shifts.
