Wellestablished, professional and highly regarded organisation NZ Society of Anaesthetists (NZSA) represents and supports the community of anaesthetists in New Zealand and promotes the safety of their patients.
They are a nonprofit membership organisation funded primarily through membership subscription, sales of educational information and surpluses from conferences.
Reporting to the Executive Committee and leading a small team of four, the Chief Executive will continue to develop the profile and capability of NZSA, ensure the interests of the Society's members are well represented nationally and internationally, and continue to grow membership numbers and engagement.
The Society is in a strong and stable position for its next Chief Executive to take the organisation to the next level, and to add value to its members in a meaningful way.
Key focuses will be on increasing the profile and advocacy capability of the organisation, continually seeking ways to add value for members, and considering alternative revenue streams to ensure the Society remains sustainable.

This is a fantastic role for a senior health professional which offers variety, autonomy and flexibility, as well as a wide range of national and international stakeholders.
