We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our team, based in either Auckland or Palmerston North.
You’ll will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our organisation, providing strategic financial guidance to ensure long-term business success.
Key Responsibilities will include: Overseeing all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, including timely and accurate financial statements.
Managing the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
Analysing financial performance and providing insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Leading mentoring, and developing your team of three, to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and procedures, driving efficiency and improvements in financial processes and systems.
About you A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and practices.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Systems orientated, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
SAP experience highly desirable.
