About The Role
We are looking for an outstanding sales leader to lead our New Zealand Acquisition sales team. You will be at the forefront of the next phase of our growth with a big focus on driving restaurant selection. As a member of the Sales leadership team, you will report to the Head of Acquisition and play an active role in setting our sales GTM, ensuring that your team is set up to exceed our commercial objectives.
Your Impact In Role
- Lead a successful Acquisition sales team, responsible for exceeding sales metrics and working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Implement an efficient and data-driven sales management system, and drive the sales team in a fast-paced environment.
- Coach and mentor your team, spending at least 50% of your time on the front line, listening to calls and visiting customers with your team members.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Operations and Merchant Operations to analyze data & insights, and find opportunities to improve sales motion, value proposition, sales enablement, systems, processes, and programs.
- Proven track record: Experience in leading successful sales teams within a high-volume environment.
- Business sense and critical thinking skills: Be a strategic thought partner in the Acquisition leadership team regarding commercial strategy, selection, and customer experience.
- Coaching and mentoring skills: A passion for coaching and a track record of developing talent.
- Communication skills: Work closely in a complex stakeholder environment with cross-functional teams to grow your area of business, developing a web of influence across our various operations teams.
