Job Title: Senior Technical Product Owner - Content Measurement

Location: Hybrid: Reston, VA / Hybrid: NYC or Remote (East Coast)

About This Role:
Comscore is building the media measurement, planning, and activation data solutions of the future. We're seeking an experienced technical product owner to help drive and support this mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in the audience measurement space to include Digital, Social CTV, Streaming, and Linear TV, as well as fluid knowledge of the software systems that support agile development. The candidate will also have a keen eye for data analysis and identifying opportunities and/or blockers in the product backlog execution. Ultimately, we need a product manager who can help us build better products that our customers love to use.

Objectives of this role:

  • Collaborate with and drive the PMO organization for execution of priority initiatives
  • Support product management strategy and vision through data analysis, client engagement and deep knowledge of product methodologies
  • Manage product documentation that supports the sales and client service that defines the product offering, methodology and FAQs
  • Align cross-functionally to understand interdependencies of each initiative across the spectrum of data collection, data science, engineering, operations and quality assurance to deliver on time with accuracy.
  • Communicate and summarize progress within the product organization, escalating where necessary
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts to understand client needs and influence product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Work closely with product management to create and maintain product roadmap to business value or ROI
  • Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

What You'll Do:

  • Drive prioritized product development and features
  • Review and maintain the product backlog
  • Define initiatives, including objectives, success criteria and desired outcomes through applicable internal systems
  • Continuously review/prioritize initiatives, stories and epics in conjunction with the PMO organization to ensure execution and alignment with product strategy
  • Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
  • Review and sign off on new product features and/or incremental data integrations to ensure that accuracy and end user functionality meet acceptance criteria
  • Lead/review the product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities. Support recurring internal communication within product organization and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage internal responses for client inquiries for applicable content products
  • Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

What You'll Need:

  • Five or more years of experience in product development
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
  • Intermediate or above experience with JIRA
  • Intermediate or above experience with Excel
  • Intermediate or above experience using and working in Slack
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
  • Experience in the audience measurement space, preferably content measurement/video streaming
  • Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
  • East coast location to support global teams in both US & EMEA
  • Compensation: $107,000 - 127,000 ; Commensurate with experience.
