To continue our growth, we are looking for an experienced and passionate person to join our team as Regional Site MRO Specialist, based on various sites, and our north Tyneside office. This is a dynamic role interacting with both our customer base and SOS staff daily. You must possess good inter-personal skills to allow you to communicate with all internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for a pro-active individual who has the ability to problem solve, in order to find the best solution for our customers' problems.

Your role will be customer site based in various locations within the Northeast of England.

The Role

Reporting to your line manager you will effectively maintain and develop relationships with customers.

Key Accountabilities on site
  • To provide comprehensive support to the Sites Maintenance and Engineering team and develop productive working relationships.
  • Work closely with the customer procurement and purchasing team.
  • To monitor and proactively deal with customer enquiries face to face.
  • Proactively managing stores stock and managed inventory systems based on customer sites.
  • Follow-up outstanding quotations to customers.
  • Maintaining of software systems and procedures.
  • Gather and compile information and reports when required.
  • Support preparation and writing of reports, and other documents where required.
  • Assist with the implementation of new maintenance stores on customer sites.
  • Customer Service experience.
  • Stored management experience.
  • From an MRO/Industrial Supply background preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Working hours:

Mon – Thur 8.00am - 4.30pm
Fri 8.00am - 2.30pm
