We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide critical support to the Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Society at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Dean's office, managing executive administration, coordinating key projects, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

As The Executive Assistant, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Diary and schedule management - ensuring the Dean's time is effectively allocated
  • Stakeholder engagement - liaising with internal and external partners, including senior leaders, industry professionals, and academic staff
  • Event coordination - supporting faculty events and high-profile meetings
  • Administrative excellence - managing correspondence, preparing reports, and handling confidential information with discretion
  • Strategic support - contributing to special projects and initiatives that drive faculty success

To thrive in this role, you will need to be a seasoned Executive Assistant with experience supporting senior leaders in a complex organisation. You will bring:

  • Exceptional organisational skills - able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities - confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactive problem-solving skills - able to anticipate needs and respond effectively
  • High attention to detail and professionalism - ensuring the highest standards in all tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and executive administration tools

A relevant tertiary qualification or significant experience in a senior EA/PA role is essential. Experience in the higher education sector is desirable but not required.

Salary: $73,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
