We are excited to partner exclusively with our client to source a motivated and team-focused Construction Project Administrator. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple high-profile projects within Christchurch City, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. About the Role:
This role offers hands-on support to a dynamic team of project managers, collaborating with site managers and engaging with key stakeholders. You'll work both on-site and in the city office, bringing a full range of skills to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing document control with precision for seamless project workflows
- Handling calls, emails, & client interactions with professionalism and efficiency
- Assisting with Health & Safety administration to ensure compliance across all projects
- Keeping timesheets accurate and submitted on time, every time
- Capturing and distributing clear, action-focused meeting minutes
- Overseeing project close-out documentation for a smooth handover
- Tackling general administrative tasks; keeping everything running like clockwork
About You:
We're looking for a detail-driven multitasker with top-notch communication skills and a knack for building strong relationships-both internally and externally.
Ideally, you bring at least two years of solid admin experience, a sharp grasp of project-based systems, and a passion for organisation and multi-tasking. A keen understanding of health and safety processes is essential, ensuring compliance and best practices across all projects.
Construction industry experience (including site visits) is a big plus, but if you're a quick learner with the right attitude, we'd love to hear from you.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in project-based systems
- Positive, solutions-focused mindset with a proactive approach
- Relevant industry qualification is a bonus, but not essential
