Based in our Auckland office, reporting to the General Manager Marketing and Communications, we are looking for a Senior Marketing Advisor to join a dynamic, supportive and collegial team.

You will take the lead on marketing campaigns for the Law Society, producing marketing collateral for significant events and conferences driving marketing for our Member Services (Representative) teams at the Law Society who work closely with the legal profession. The Senior Marketing Advisor will be responsible for ad purchasing (in any external publications or online) and monitoring and reporting on campaign performance.

You will be proficient in the use of Photoshop and other appropriate design-related software, with proven experience managing and developing a brand, using digital marketing to grow brands.

Our ideal applicant will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing
  • At least eight years' marketing and digital marketing experience
  • Experience using market research and data to make strategic decisions
  • Extensive experience in website content management systems and other digital marketing tools
  • Project management experience developing and executing marketing plans
  • Knowledge of current digital best practice and how to apply that to the Law Society
  • Understanding of the legal environment and groups within the broad legal sector or the ability to quickly acquire this knowledge
  • Some understanding of the political, parliamentary, and legislative environment and the context within which the Law Society operates.
