An exciting new opportunity exists in our central Marketing team for a self-motivated Marketing Advisor to support AUT faculty stakeholder engagement and develop marketing collateral and content that meets faculty recruitment priorities and aligns with the University's marketing strategy and objectives.

This role assists in establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships to positively represent the wider Marketing and Recruitment group and to ensure faculty leadership is informed of relevant marketing campaigns, results, and initiatives across the wider Brand and Marketing Services division. The role also supports the wider team with content creation, projects, and event support when required.

The team handles a high volume of work for multiple stakeholders, so we seek someone to help maintain a smooth workflow and ensure timely project completion.

About the team:

The marketing team sits within the wider centralised Brand and Marketing Services division at our City Campus. We're a team of eight, with roles covering both domestic and international marketing strategy, projects, and campaign activity across the University. This role reports to our Marketing Manager (Strategy).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar multi-disciplinary marketing role with strong knowledge of marketing principles, practices, and analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills via all mediums - ability to communicate to customers in a professional manner and strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Be a team player with strong relationship skills who enjoys working with others in a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM, e-mail marketing automation systems, and social media platforms/content creation.
  • Possess strong planning and coordination abilities and be capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality outputs and attention to detail.
  • Have a proactive, energetic, and efficient approach, and be able to effectively collaborate with diverse groups and cultures.
  • Show initiative and bring creativity and new ideas to the role.
