About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

This role will see you lead medium to large project teams across the wider consumer business. You will manage multiple stakeholders to drive the delivery of NPD projects ensuring they meet business expectations in a rapid innovation environment. The role involves advising and coordinating internal resources to deliver projects which will have a global, multi-year impact. In addition to this you will:

  • Turn new product development (NPD) ideas into commercialised products to meet financial growth targets.
  • Manage medium to large projects from feasibility through to market launch and post-launch. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to perform and work towards clear goals that support project outcomes.
  • Actively manage project governance and influence stakeholders across the business.

About you | Ko wai koe

Using your experience in NPD Commercialisation and your technical background to drive multimarket innovation projects at pace. You will be able to navigate obstacles with a problem-solving attitude and have a solid understanding of the end-to-end commercialisation process. Above all you will have a strong desire to learn. In addition, you will have:

  • A tertiary degree in marketing, or relevant science, technology or human health background.
  • Proven experience in developing new products and successfully commercialising these within an FMCG environment.
  • History of project managing large and complex consumer NPD projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • A passion for innovation and enjoy working in a fast paced and unpredictable environment.
