Applications are now open to join our Quality team as a Quality Facilitator, on a fixed term basis for approximately 12 months.
Te Mahi/About the Position
We have an exciting, fixed term (1.0 FTE) opportunity to join our Quality team, to cover maternity leave, working Monday - Friday from central Merivale.
The Quality Facilitator is a pivotal position providing coordination and evidence-based advice for our quality programme across the organisation, with a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Key aspects of the Quality Team include:
- Supporting our services to prepare for external audit compliance and certifications.
- Supporting systems to lead internal audits and monitor key quality indicators.
- Involvement in promoting, monitoring and maintaining standards relating to clinical and organisational quality and risk.
He momo/About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor of Nursing qualification (or equivalent), with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- A Post-Graduate Qualification or be working towards this.
- Experience in quality and risk management, minimum of 3 years.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality systems to support the maintenance of external audit and certification standards.
- Experience in auditing.
- Good working knowledge on health-related legislation.
- An understanding or working knowledge of clinical governance.
