Role Description

This is a contract based and commission only role. We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales. In this commission-only role, you will have the freedom to manage your own schedule while earning uncapped commission. Your primary focus will be identifying, engaging, and closing deals with business and commercial clients looking for sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Consultation: Engage with business customers to understand their energy needs, offering expert advice and tailored solutions.
  2. Lead Generation & Networking: Actively seek out new business opportunities with business clients, builders, developers, developing strong industry relationships.
  3. Sales & Quoting: Use your industry knowledge and our tools to develop detailed, customised quotes for installations and close sales effectively.
  4. Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and progress.
  5. Collaboration with Internal & External Teams: Work closely with managers & Partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  6. Sales Targets & Customer Satisfaction: Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals while ensuring an exceptional customer experience through clear communication and professionalism.

Who are you

  1. A self-motivated and proactive sales professional with a proven ability to close deals.
  2. Excellent communicator with strong consultative sales skills.
  3. Experienced in business development, sales, or a related field (preferred).
  4. Comfortable using CRM tools to track leads and sales progress.
  5. Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability (a plus but not required).
  6. Results-driven, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
