Location:Auckland CBD
Work-type:Permanent Part-time
Hours:30 hours per week, spread over 4-5 days, with flexibility to suit your preferred schedule (office-based).
About the role:
In this position, you'll play a key part in supporting the Finance Manager, providing essential support across a variety of financial tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
- Processing invoices, payments, and collections using MYOB
- Conducting bank reconciliations and month-end reconciliations
- Assisting with tax filings and compliance requirements
- Supporting payroll processing, including monthly/fortnightly tracking through iPayroll
- Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
- Driving weekly and monthly timesheet reviews and ensuring accuracy
- Monitoring financial transactions and ensuring they are accurately recorded
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis tasks as required
- At least 1 year of accounting experience, ideally within a professional services environment
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create detailed spreadsheets and reports
- Experience using MYOB and iPayroll (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and numerical skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage your workload independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
- A qualification such as AT or similar would be advantageous but not essential
