As a Solution Architect, you will design and deliver solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and advance our digital strategy. You will be responsible for developing solution architectures in end-user-focused domains such as ITSM, ITAM, and ESM, built around our ServiceNow instance. You will also focus on end-user technology solutions, including modern desktop management, collaboration tools, and mobility & telephony. You will identify and evaluate alternative architectures, balancing cost, performance, and scalability. Additionally, you will produce specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers, and interfaces, translating high-level architectures into detailed, actionable designs using selected services and products.

As part of the End User Services Leadership Team, you will help to guide future services to enable all users.

This role is ideal for someone who is customer-service oriented with a strong background in IT Service management and modern device management.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Significant experience in a senior technical role (approximately 3-5 years as a senior engineer or junior solution architect)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science (or a related field), or equivalent professional experience
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle for a complex medium to large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining design principles and working collaboratively to achieve business outcomes
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of leading industry frameworks and patterns (e.g., COBIT and ITIL)
  • Experience coaching and mentoring technical professionals
  • Technical Leadership mindset and understanding of the role that solution architecture plays to deliver the organisational objectives
  • The ability to combine contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical levels of thinking to achieve solution outcomes
  • Advance Level Technical Certification (ex: Microsoft) - preferred
