Ramp Services Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Managing Health & Safety at Hamilton Airport for JNP.
  • Safety Audits.
  • Safety Communication.
  • Staff / Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Safety Reporting and Analysis.
  • Support / undertake Safety Incident Investigations.
  • Planning – rostering and managing leave.
  • Ensure service levels are achieved.
  • Maintain close and effective business relationships with customers and various control authorities such as Airport Management.
  • Transporting customer baggage to and from the aircraft.
  • Loading and unloading aircraft.
  • Operating airport equipment in the ramp area.
  • Physical fitness required as lifting up to 23Kgs per bag is normal (32kg max occasional).
Position Prerequisites:
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years of back-of-house ground handling experience.
  • You must have a Current NZ Driver's License.
  • You must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Clearance.
  • You must pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol testing.
  • You must meet Civil Aviation Security requirements.
  • You must be legally able to work in New Zealand.

ONLY those WITH ramp experience should apply

  • An NZQA-approved micro-credential or certificate in aviation ground handling.
