About the Role:
We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance Team. This newly created role will support the Group FP&A Manager in advancing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Your primary goal will be to provide financial insights and analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Reporting: Maintain and improve the Awanui Reporting Dashboard, ensuring accurate and clear financial reporting. Partner with IT to develop datasets that support effective decision-making.
- Support Financial Planning: Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget, business planning, and forecasting processes, providing data analysis and actionable insights.
- Drive Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to operational and financial success.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to align financial reporting with organizational priorities.
- Challenge and Refine: Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and propose improvements to processes and tools.
An ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor's degree in finance or commerce.
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial finance role.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with Power BI is preferred.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
- Analytical thinker who asks questions, challenges assumptions, and seeks continuous improvement.
- Resilient and action-oriented, delivering results with energy and enthusiasm.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Self-starter who thrives on solving complex problems and driving outcomes.
