About the RoleAre you seeking an opportunity that values your social work experience while maintaining your work-life balance? We are looking for an experienced social worker skilled in providing support to patients and their whānau/family to identify and enhance their ability and capacity to address and manage challenging situations. Reporting to the Clinical Social Work Manager, this role will see you working across all departments ensuring that Social Work practices and support is integrated effectively. You will utilise professional Social Work clinical skills to undertake assessment, analysis and provide a wide range of interventions that uphold tino rangatiratanga and mana of patients and their whānau/family.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and compassionate social worker who is seeking a good work-life balance and is looking for a challenging and rewarding role.
As part of the requirement of this role, there may be some weekend work and occasional evenings work until 7.30pm.

About YouOur ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the NZ Social Worker's Board.
- A minimum of 5 years' social work experience.

- Ability to remain calm in a crisis situation.
- Passionate and dynamic advocate for the social work profession.
- Commitment to the Te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi and Whānau Ora principles.
