We are looking for an Account Manager to help manage our Grocery and Independent wholesale customers. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will have account management responsibility across multiple brands and categories.
Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver top line sales budget for your customer portfolio.
- Develop and nurture key relationships with internal and external customers; meet to discuss objectives, sales performance, and explore opportunities to maximise growth.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of product ranges to ensure ranging is in line with customer and business requirements.
- Preparation and management of Go to Market presentations, price lists, and order placement.
- Co-manage planning and forecasting of stock with NSM.
- Manage clearance lines to achieve stock targets.
What experience do I have?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is at Sales Coordinator with AM experience or Junior Account Manager level, and keen to continue progressing their career and developing in the sales space. Exposure to large multi-site retailers and a centralised buying structure, along with experience in a busy role where you are responsible for sales administration, coordinating activities, and liaising with multiple stakeholders and external/third parties, will set you up for success in this position. You must have a genuine passion for brands and the world of wholesale/retail – and love the art of sales
You are energetic, conscientious, and able to use your initiative and problem-solve your way through issues as they arise, coming to the table with solutions. Sound knowledge of Excel and an ability to pick up new systems quickly is also required.
