For this ambitious globally active player we are looking for an equally ambitious Senior Technologist Formulated Beverages

IHRE NEUE HERAUSFORDERUNG
  • Responsible for driving beverages product development within the liquid innovation pipeline, identifying and developing the best and safe baby and medical nutrition beverages
  • Initiating and executing research into high protein & high calorie beverages and in IP, technologies and regulatory issues
  • Development of new recipes and processes, from bench and pilot scale to commercial factory trials, to coordinating of scaling up activities into the state of the art Synlait production facilities
  • Participating in and managing shelf life studies for trial and commercial products, including method development
  • Managing and building up relevant networks and setting up collaborations in partnerships, both internally and externally with scientific institutes and suppliers of equipment/ technology
  • Ensuring food safety in close cooperation with the Quality & Food Safety department
  • Working closely together with colleagues from i.e. Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Engineering and Quality and Food Safety
  • Reporting to the Technical and Applications Manager
DAS BRINGEN SIE MIT
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food technology, Chemical Engineering/ Technology or equivalent
  • Extensive relevant experience in a milk processing and new technology environment; you have a strong understanding of liquid product properties and interations during industrial processing
  • Strong project management skills and comfortable working in international project teams and achieving results within set targets, budgets and timeframes
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills, with fluency in English
  • Personal skills: analytic, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, autonomous, team player and 'fun to work with'
