SUPPLY CHAIN
Rocket Lab's Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials, products, and components through the business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers' missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They set up the assembly kits that enables our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping and receiving, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all of our materials and products are compliant and up to standard. They are the chain that links our teams together, and are critical to our success.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
The Production Coordinator will constantly champion schedule adherence with daily detailed scheduling and planning of work orders. The Production Coordinator supports production to achieve on time delivery of dependent demands in accordance with the Master Production Schedule. Responsible for shop floor inventory positions and accuracy, the Production Coordinator works closely with manufacturing engineering and inventory control to identify and resolve any discrepancies with raw material and semi finished goods inventory. You will support the Supply Chain organisation, with deliverables required for internal leadership, board of directors, and investors.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years' experience in a Production Planning or relevant position, ideally in a manufacturing / engineering environmentProficient in MS Office, ERP systems, math, and statisticsUnderstanding of planning related ERP processes and requirements including MRPExcellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse problems, propose solutions and/or make recommendations and actFlexible team player who is looking to thrive in a fast-growing and often-times uncertain environmentTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE: Proficient in Shop Floor Production control & MRP systemsExperience in aerospace or automotive manufacturingPrior experience in rapid growth environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand production processes and constraints If you would like more information apply now All applications are reviewed and considered.Important information:
