Warehousing Store Person

This includes inwards and outwards goods, ensuring safe and efficient movement of stock within their warehouse and all the associated paperwork.

Applications MUST have a Forklift License and experience.

Warehousing Store Person Accountabilities

Inwards Goods:

Receive and effectively process all returned stock
* Receive and effectively process all inbound stock for sale noting condition
of the product and signing for accordingly
* Ensure all received stock is entered into the AS400 costing system
* Anticipate warehouse space planning projections for inbound stock
* Ensure warehouse space consolidation is being monitored regularly
* Assist with the unloading of inbound trucks
* Open and inspect all returned product to identify the corrects product has
been received/ internal damage/ complete accessories

Outwards Goods:

Pick/Pack/Process pick slips to consignment
* All products to be picked and processed ensuring correct product and
quantity is matched according to the order with a nil error rate
* All orders suitably packaged to allow for size, proneness to damage and
dollar value of item
* All products to be handled whilst bearing in mind that the condition of the
product when it arrives at the customer premises is a representation of the
quality of the clients product and professionalism of its services.
* All product to be regarded as a company asset and is to be stored,
handled, packed and loaded with due care
* Deal with supplier product returns via the clients Return to Supplier procedure
* Ensure outward goods orders are processed and dispatched on the same
day ordered by keeping to strict cut off times for collection

Warehouse Presentation

Ensure warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised to meet the clients standards and Health and Safety regulations, this may include but not limited to:

General tidiness of the storage areas, the stock in those storage areas and the floor space in the designated zones.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertake any other duties at the request of the Operations or
Warehousing Manager which are commensurate with the role including
project work and absence cover
* Comply with all the clients policies and procedures including:
- No unauthorised personnel to be allowed entry to any the clients
warehouse
- No person other than warehouse personnel is to be left
unattended while in the warehouse
- No stock is to be removed from the warehouse without the
appropriate invoice, transfer, or service docket
* Take reasonable care of your own and other's health and safety, ensuring
the client complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 as well actively
maintaining up to date knowledge of health and safety procedures
available on the intranet

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in a warehouse role
* A current forklift licence and experience in the operation of both LPG and battery powered
forklift and/or reach trucks
* The ability to work without constant supervision
* The ability to adhere to formal warehouse processes
* The ability to work with minimal error
* An ability to work with maximum efficiencies
* A proactive approach to assisting other team members.
* A level of excellence in customer service skill with a base attribute of being able to
professionally attend to the specific requirements of your fellow worker
* Demonstrated safe working methods
* The demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with accuracy, especially where
timelines may change.
* A good level of physical fitness as some heavy lifting will be required
