Since 2016 we have successfully helped thousands of peopleboth here in New Zealand and abroad transition to a healthier lifestyle by trading traditional cigarettes for vaping.We are currently seeking a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to help motivate, lead and inspire our sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve exceptional sales results.This is a full-time, permanent position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful applicant must be available to work weekend shifts and late nights as necessary.This is a varied role that will entail a combination of general managerial duties, administrative tasks, retail sales and online fulfilment, supporting our Retail Manager. It is best suited to someone who is positive, confident and motivated, with a passion for customer service. Good attention to detail, as well as the ability to self-motivate, are key. You should have an excellent work ethic and outstanding organisational skills. Full training will be provided although prior experience in a management role is preferable.We are looking for someone who can;Work closely alongside management to oversee and contribute to the daily operations and performance of the stores.Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and contribute to the company’s values and culture of achieving a smoke-free New Zealand by 2025.Achieve personal sales targets by achieving excellence in customer satisfaction and assisting in achieving store targets.Contribute and add value to the team by demonstrating a willing, ‘can-do’ attitude.Focus on attention to detail, diligence and maximising efficiency and time.Willingly adapt and learn new skills to grow personally and professionally within the organisation.Anticipate needs, self-manage and work under pressure during busy periodsSpecific Responsibilities:Assist with inventory procurement and management.Assist with managing, motivating & training the retail team - train, develop and mentor staff as necessary in line with company policies and procedures.Communicate across the retail team any policy or procedural updates, product information and general updates.Assist with online order fulfilment as necessary.Assist with providing customer support when necessary across all support channels including email and social media.Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation are maintained to a high standard.With the support of senior management, oversee and ensure store compliance with our regulatory obligations.A passion for customer service, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are key to this role as we strive to offer clear, honest, comprehensive advice to our customers at all times.We offer generous staff discounts for all employees and pride ourselves on a fun, safe and dynamic workplace.
