About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
The
Community Connector role is designed to enhance our client's lifestyles by delivering connections with external community networks.

You will be a whiz at coordinating person centered activities as well as be a valued mentor and leader to guide our clients to attainable pathways to help them achieve their goals and be the best they can be.


As someone who is passionate about planning activities and goal setting, your calendar will be full of exciting and effective outings to benefit all involved.

Naturally you are a go getter and are willing to go over and above to do your part in supporting our clients to live their best lives You will involved in a huge range of exciting tasks - from outdoor activities, swimming or supporting our clients with general household tasks, no day will ever be the same


In this role you will be working closely with families and external services, so being familiar with support services in the Waikato area would be an advantage.

As a community based role, you will have your full NZ license and be comfortable getting out and about in the community.

This role will be based in Hamilton.

What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Level Four Certificate
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Knowledge of community services in the region and how to access these
  • Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
  • Full NZ drivers license and clean Police check
