About the Role

Your responsibilities will involve unloading and loading products following safe operating procedures, processing customer orders, and carrying out sales tasks while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

You will be expected to provide assistance in the yard and in the store when necessary, therefore physical fitness is essential for lifting weights up to 25kgs. Additionally, you should be confident in interacting with customers and delivering excellent service.

There may be a need for you to perform general administrative and stockroom duties within the branch. The standard working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility in start/finish times being a possibility.

Skills and Experience

Having a Full Driver's Licence is mandatory. An F endorsement & Forklift licence would be advantageous, and if you don't possess these, we can provide support for the right candidate as operating a forklift in the yard might be required.

While a background in yard work or sales would be beneficial for this role, it is equally important for you to showcase:

  • Self-motivation and reliability
  • A focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to handle repetitive heavy lifting (up to 25kgs)
  • Willingness to undergo training and acquire new skills
