Ngā mahi - What you'll do

The Senior Advisor - Reporting and Analytics is responsible for assessing the current state reporting and analytics activity and capability across the People, Governance and Capability group, and working with stakeholders across Kāinga Ora to establish an integrated framework for group-wide reporting which aligns with broader organisational approaches, processes and timeframes.

The Senior Advisor will provide tailored analysis and advice to support effective decision-making and to enhance effectiveness of the PGC group.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you'll need

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Information Management, or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Possess technical skills and business knowledge of systems to provide solutions to complex information needs.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business and external to the organisation.
  • Ability to gather/analyse/verify and report critical business data from systems that underpin operational and management reporting.
  • Ability to identify gaps, risks and future improvements in the business process and systems.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions and undertake the implementation of improvements in an ambiguous and changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Information governance and compliance practices; including NZISM, Privacy Act, PSR etc.
  • Experience with large financial and/or data warehouse systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent report and business document writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work with a minimum of supervision on a day to day basis.
