We have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Senior Advisor Planning and Performance to join the Office of the Chief Executive.

Reporting to the Principal Advisor, you'll be responsible for the development and production of ESR's corporate accountability documents and external performance reporting (Statement of Corporate Intent, Annual Report, Half Year and Quarterly Reports).

You'll manage and coordinate our reporting and planning requirements as a CRI, which includes highlighting progress against our strategic goals and key challenges, whilst providing recommendations for future improvements.

This is an opportunity to support the development and delivery of our business plan and our performance monitoring system and processes.

You'll work cross-functionally and build relationships at all levels of our organisation from Board level, through to our Senior Leadership Team, and our corporate and science business groups (Health, Environment and Forensic), to deliver corporate accountability and performance reporting activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have a mix of the following skills and experience:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business administration, economics, finance or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering the production of highquality performance documents.
  • Commercial acumen and experience in all facets of business planning and the preparation of accountability documentation.
  • Welldeveloped strategic and analytical thinking skills as well as excellent writing skills
  • Solution focussed, knowledgeable in plan preparation and review processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building productive and collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong experience influencing and facilitating at senior management level.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
