Our digital channels are key to delivering a world class customer experience. Our Integration Team provide event driven integration along with a Cloud Platform integration approach. We are excited to welcome an Integration Engineer / Kaipūhanga Kōtuitui to the Z whanau.

Working alongside Z business users and other Digital team members you will be part of a diverse team collaborating to build, enhance, maintain and support integrations and APIs that deliver value for Z.


This role can be located in Auckland or Wellington.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Get involved in what matters to us and our customers
  • Create, enhance and support solutions along with supporting documentation
  • Ensure solutions and changes meet our digital standards and security standards
  • Contribute to the standards and best practices for backend development
  • Contribute to establishing and using DevSecOps practices and tooling in backend development
  • Keep current with technology and industry changes and contribute to discussions to improve existing solutions

Qualifications

What you'll bring to Z

  • Ideally 3+ years' experience in integration and API development
  • Trouble shooting and problemsolving skills
  • Practical experience in the Azure cloud and is preferred
  • Code development experience using DevSecOps best practices
  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Demonstrable problemsolving skills and a curiosity to find solutions
  • Great communication skills to work with a range of people
  • A bias for action

The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $86,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
