The Adult Community Referral Centre has a part-time opportunity for an experienced Registered Health Professional (Nursing or Allied) with comprehensive or psychiatric endorsement or experience, to work alongside the wider Older Persons Mental Health Community Team.

This role suits someone who has a passion for working in mental health and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of older persons.

The role is predominantly about managing referral intake, making triage decisions and managing acute situations.

Based at The Princess Margaret Hospital, ACRC is the main point of contact for telephone enquiries and provides excellent responsive customer service and has a strong quality improvement focus.

  • You ll be an experienced Registered Health Professional (Nursing or Allied) with the ability to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Your enthusiastic, motivated approach, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage a wide variety of people will see you succeed in this role.
  • Your ability to think on your feet, problem solve, and be an adaptive learner.
  • Registered with the appropriate professional body with a current APC
This is a 0.5FTE permanent position based at The Princess Margaret Hospital. There is the option of increased FTE temporarily until April 2023.
