We have fantastic learning opportunity to gain experience individual in Gastroenterology with one of the largest employers in South Auckland, providing quality service to Patients, Whaanau and communities of the Counties Manukau region.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday and based at Middlemore Hospital.


In this role you will contribute to the overall patient experience in Gastroenterology by working within the health care team and under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Health Professional to deliver Gastroenterology services that meet the patient needs, are efficient and customer focused.

You may work specifically at the reception desk for a designated time, may work for a designated period on specific administration functions or may work in a general administration role supporting clinics and the wider administration team

Preferred:

  • One year's experience in a servicebased environment
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Healthcare experience will be advantageous

Essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Must be physically fit and reliable
  • Computer skills
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment

Dependent on skills and experience the salary is in line with the PSA Clerical and Administrative staff collective agreement, which is between $59,627 to $63,984.
