As the Directional Driller Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled directional drillers to successfully complete underground drilling projects.

You will oversee the drilling process from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines and project specifications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of directional drillers and provide guidance and training as needed
  • Plan and coordinate drilling projects, including site preparation, drilling, and cleanup
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines are met
  • Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations
  • Troubleshoot and solve any problems that arise during the drilling process
  • Effectively planning and communicating work with the team
  • Effectively control costs and waste reduction
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to educate, engage and motivate teams
  • Provide guidance to teams and ensure everything is compliant with quality standards
  • Interacting with clients and communicating their needs
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in directional drilling
  • Proven leadership experience and excellent communication skills
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of drilling equipment and techniques
  • Willing to work at various locations
