  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial principles and practices is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling forecasting, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • A proactive and selfmotivated attitude with a desire to learn and grow.

_About the role:

The role entails overseeing and improving our organization's financial activities. This includes financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Finance professionals assess and manage financial risks, monitor cash flow and working capital, provide strategic insights for decision-making, and may lead teams to drive financial success.


_Responsibilities:

  • Assist in financial analysis, including gathering and interpreting financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation requirements.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of financial models, forecasts, and reports.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to analyse business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations affecting the financial landscape.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the finance manager.
