Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roles
Our Portfolio Coordinators provide critical portfolio administration support to ensure delivery of Programme benefits.

We have two short term roles available:

  • One will be supporting the delivery of our processing facility and automated material handling systems for our new Auckland Central Super Depot from procurement to go-live. Ideally for this role, you'll have some experience on projects working on the construction of infrastructure and automated equipment in a similar operational/airport/manufacturing/logistics environment (rather than solely in software or process implementation roles).
  • The other role is focussed on coordinating with operation, network and process workstreams in a cohesive and effective way in preparation for the golive of our biggest processing site the Auckland Processing Centre (Wiri), including integrated planning, commissioning and testing and joint parties. You'll need to be very collaborative, ideally have some planning experience, have exposure to working with government agencies.


In these roles, on top of supporting programme managers with the programme delivery, you will ensure adherence to the programme/portfolio and project methodology incorporating standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques, and feeding back improvements to help raise the bar.

You will also support reviews and audits of project and programme management to ensure conformance to standards.

These are both Auckland-based roles as you'll need to be on site from time-to-time to coordinate teams and see the operation in person.

Crucial to your success in this role will be your attention to detail and prioritisation will be your super-power.

We'd love for you to tell us about your experience providing general project management or portfolio administration, including document management and control, supporting planning and budgeting, and onboarding and offboarding project team members.

You'll also have strong computer literacy with experience using SharePoint and MS Project and you'll be able to meet key deadlines and work in a fast-paced delivery-focused environment while still having fun.
