To lead the day-to-day operations of thisstate-of-the-art facility, we're seeking a hands-on Team Leader who thrives ina fast-paced environment.

Theopportunity:

This rewarding and hands-on role offers the chanceto play a pivotal role in the success of our new facility. You'll lead adedicated team, ensuring smooth operation and exceptional customer experiences.Youwill possess a strong understanding of fresh produce handling and qualitycontrol.

The Job:

  • Full-timepermanent
  • Location:William Durant Drive, Upper Hutt
  • Position starts in 2 weeks
  • Roster: Mondayto Friday (5 nights per week)
  • Hours: 8.30 pmto 4.00 am (approx.)

The role:

Youwill play a key part in ensuring our department runs while smoothly fostering apositive and productive work environment. Some of the key responsibilities are:

  • Assist in the management of the day to dayoperations of the team
  • Ensure the highest standards of freshness, quality,and food safety.
  • Foster a collaborative andproductive team environment.
  • Manage the dispatch functions
  • Roster management and allocationof tasks and resources
  • Oversee all aspects of producepreparation, ensuring freshness and quality
  • Supervise the prep produceprocessing operations
  • Monitoring product quality beforepackaging by closely inspecting
  • Monitor operating machines topeel, core, slice, and dice fruits and vegetables
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workarea
  • Strictly adhere to food safetystandards and observe H&S protocols

Theperson:

You will possess a deep understandingof produce handling, quality control, and dispatch processes. You will ideallyhave relevantexperience leading ateam either in the Fresh Produce or Warehousing industry.
