The role
Reporting to the Delivery manager - projects, you'll be responsible for the successful pricing and delivery of transmission Lines projects from initiation, planning, design, execution, commissioning and controlling to achieve specific outcomes of the customer and Northpower of safety, quality, on-time completion and financial targets

You'll be responsible to:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and budget
  • Any designs prepared meet customer and industry standards and objective of the scope or job brief
  • Manage the handover of pricing from Estimating to Project team
  • Complete and closeout projects in a timely manner including financial reconciliation, job files, customer required documentation, contract performance feedback
  • Effectively manage customer liaison and arrangements
  • Scope and deliver materials and contract resources accurately


This role will primarily covers the project management of Transmission overhead lines, In addition to this, some project management may include upgrades or development of industrial customers' electrical networks as required from time to time.

Some support with design and estimating may be required periodically.

About you
To be successful in this role, it is preferred that you to have experience in the Power Transmission industry.

Ideally you'll be someone with an understanding of how to deliver projects and would come with previous Project Management experience as a junior or intermediate PM.


  • We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
  • Industry knowledge and experience in transmission lines is preferred but not essential
  • Great understanding of the fundamentals of project and job management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Problem solving skills, with a proven ability to develop and manage relationships
