PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge

  • Demonstrates an understanding of how communications work together with other related enterprise and engagement activities and contribute to overall performance outcomes.

Qualifications and/or experience

  • A tertiary qualification in journalism, communications or other relevant field, with experience working in a communications, media or journalism role.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of successful communications strategies and plans.
  • Record of professional achievement, with an ability to challenge thinking and represent and articulate ideas.
  • Experience using a wide range of online and social media tools, and ideally with some videography and photography skills.
  • Experience writing content for varying channels, media, web, social media and technical copy editing and proofreading.

  • Ability to make relevant connections and maintain a clear focus on long term objectives.
